The Jiggy with the Piggy BBQ Challenge is NOT a BBQ Festival. It is just one component of the Village Jiggy Jam Festival. Similar to the 5k, Car Cruise In, Movies on the Campus, Arts/Craft vendors, All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast, People’s Choice Wings and Pork Tasting, and National Train Day…all independent events coordinated by different agencies that culminate to make up the Village Jiggy Jam. Partners in the weekend events include: Cabarrus Events Association, City of Kannapolis, NC Music Hall of Fame, Kannapolis Rotary, Kannapolis YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, 600 Festival committee, and the NC Department of Transportation Railway Division.
