The smells and sights of over 70 barbeque competition - there is nothing better and it is coming soon! The Jiggy with the Piggy BBQ Competition and Festival returns to downtown Kannapolis and the North Carolina Research Campus on May 6 & 7, 2016. Once again BBQ teams from around the U.S. are expected to compete in the competition sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. The public can get in on the fun during the two day festival with more than 100 artisans, concerts, the 600 Festival Outdoor Family Movie, and the People's Choice wings and pork tasting contests. The Jiggy with the Piggy Run moves from Saturday morning to Tuesday evening on May 3rd. Part of the Run Kannapolis Series, the Run will be held in Downtown Kannapolis.
