SUMMARY:PRO Act Webinar
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a FREE webinar led by Kenny Colbert\, Co-CEO of Catapult\, to discuss the PRO Act. Key points to be discussed during the webinar are listed below:\n\n	The House of Representatives has recently passed the PRO Act----Protecting the Right to Organize. This is the most sweeping piece of union related legislation since the 1930's. It would abolish NC's right-to-work law and make other changes to current union related legislation\, and it would also drastically change the definition of who is an employee and who is an independent contractor. This bill will move to the Senate in the near future.\n\n \n\n\n	OSHA will soon announce its long awaited new rules related to COVID and the workplace. It is expected that all companies will have to have a written plan that fully documents how they intend to keep their employees safe from COVID exposure. \n\n \n\n\n	And speaking of COVID\, what are the latest guidelines on requiring employees to be vaccinated before returning/remaining in the work environment? Can you ask employees for proof of vaccination?\n\n \n\n\n	We will also discuss the American Rescue Plan of 2021 (the most recent stimulus package) and answer common questions about paid leave and tax credits related to the leave----along with health insurance implications.\n\n \n\n\n	We will also discuss some recent changes to unemployment compensation procedures\, and the new requirements for filing EEO-1 reports with the federal government.
